Mercy Gospel ministry was founded in the year 2006 by a group of Christian brothers, most of them being church leaders – pastors, evangelists, and teachers of the Bible among others. We planned for a central location in Nairobi city where initial church fellowship can take off. Makadara is one of the busiest and centrally located estates connecting down town Nairobi and several destinations of Nairobi superbs. A church fellowship was begun in a rental premise which has now grown to over one hundred members.

Through the contribution of the new members and founders, MGM has managed to purchase a plot at Mukuru kwa Njenga, the second largest slum in Nairobi. Within the church plot a church building structure (temporarily building) has been put up which can house a congregation of about 700 members, other temporal structures in progress are children and youth classrooms – where formal education can be offered. A care taker house is also completed. Branch churches have been started, one at embakasi village (sokoni) and fine churches in Western Kenya – Mumias, we have already 15 Churches, Nyanza 9 churches, and eastern Kenya 10 Total – 37 churches only 21 are already built semi-permanent and 16 not yet constructed.

M.G.M is targeting to reach every nation both in urban and rural areas to reach them with Gospel of Jesus Christ through evangelism, seminars, conferences, public crusades and church planting. M.G.M is creating community based organization to create awareness of deadly disease HIV/AIDS to the infected and affected and to the most vulnerable people and orphans, widows and widowers.

M.G.M is targeting to educate youth at risk by keeping them busy with computer schools, engineering, carpentry, tailoring and dressmaking, sewing and missionary. M.G.M has a plan to start training of inter-denomination church leaders through the satellite on how to be effective leaders. For now life have already done partnership with world impact ministries. The urban ministry institution (Tumi) satellite has in Kenya to start training leaders.
